Nextfest Demo from June 15 until 22

Empluna is a building game in which you don’t just place buildings, but plan, construct and design them yourself. From individual rooms in industrial facilities to entire streets, you decide how your city works.

The focus is on creative, guided construction: without restricting your freedom – the economy, society and resources support your decisions. Instead of a harsh economic simulation, the focus is on designing urban structures and living spaces. The result is a city that reacts dynamically to your actions and grows with you.

You take charge of a new urban project in the 21st century – founded to rethink modernity and coexistence. Starting from scratch, with unclear goals but plenty of creative freedom.
Step by step, your city grows. New population groups move in, each with their own needs, desires and expectations.

Craftsmen, families, professionals, researchers, artists and tourists
Your decisions determine which areas flourish and where challenges arise.
From basic services such as schools and healthcare facilities to leisure activities such as sports facilities, race tracks and amusement parks. The result is a vibrant city that responds to your planning and is constantly evolving.
You shape streets, squares and neighbourhoods. You bring your city to life. You build the world you imagine.

A wide variety of game mechanics give you, as the leader of the city project, the opportunity to turn your visions into reality.
Building & Designing:
Economy & Goods:

If you want to design cities, build houses, plan roads and play in a relaxed manner,
then Empluna is just the thing for you!

Empluna is an indie project that we, two cousins, started over five years ago and have been developing ever since. Phew, we were surprised ourselves at how long ago that was. 😉
What began during our final years at school and later grew in our student rooms has evolved into a complex and vibrant game world.
Our goal has always been to create a building game that combines creativity with depth of system, without forcing you into rigid constraints. Empluna gives you the freedom to imagine your own city and bring it to life exactly as you envision it.
At some point, it became clear to us: this world doesn’t belong on a hard drive, but in the hands of players.
Of course, not everything is perfect. We’ve learnt a lot: we’ve scrapped things, rebuilt them, adapted them and tackled them time and again.
We’re both from northern Germany and have always been involved in technical projects, be it apps, games or other creative ideas. With Empluna, we’re now taking our first step into the public eye.
That’s precisely why your feedback is extremely important to us, whether it’s critical or positive. It helps us learn and shape the future of Empluna.

We appreciate any mention or coverage of Empluna and would like to thank everyone who supports the project.
The materials contained in the press kit (e.g. images, logos and videos) may be used freely for reporting and public relations purposes. Use is permitted without separate authorisation, provided there is a connection to Empluna.
