Samples

To demonstrate all the features of Musician, several example scenes are provided. They can be found in the ExampleResources/Scenes folder.

Zoning Sample Scene #

The Zoning Sample Scene demonstrates the use of Static Mood Zones. A sample Mood Zone object is assigned in the Musician Pitch, and the Player object is selected as the Target.

Playmode: Move through the scene using WASD and approach different zones to trigger music changes.

Dynamic Zoning Scene #

The Dynamic Zoning Sample Scene shows how moving zones can be integrated into Musician.

  1. On one side, a stress test is set up with closely spaced zones. Musician tries to change music defensively to avoid disharmonious transitions.
  2. On the other side, moving Enemies are positioned. Move the player near them, and the enemies are tracked, causing the music to shift towards a more dramatic mood.

Tracking Sample Scene #

This example demonstrates how the mood adapts to certain gameplay parameters. The player starts with 100 health points. Moving the player into danger zones reduces their health. If the health drops below a critical threshold, the mood intensity and dramatics increase, and the music adjusts accordingly. Similarly, as the player regenerates health, the mood decreases in intensity and the music calms down.
